Yamaha LS9-32 Channel Digital Mixer
The Yamaha CL5 is the largest in the CL series of digital mixing consoles. Utilising the Centralogic interface first introduced of the predecesor M7CL series consoles.
The CL5 provides three banks of eight channel faders, plus eight Centralogic and two master faders. Onboard bus master metering is also included. 72 mono channels and 8 stereo channels may be routed or mixed to 24 group/mix and 8 matrix mix busses, and assigned to 16 DCA's and 8 mute groups. The console provides 300 snapshot scene memories, and has the facility to feed and control multi-track recording via DANTE to a suitable Virtual Soundcard enabled Mac/PC running Steinberg Nuendo Live.
CL5 consoles have limited stand alone IO, and ordinarily utilises Yamaha RIO322-D and 1608-D remote stage box options. Extensive impementation and use of the Audinate DANTE network allow the consoles to utilise shared resources from other Yamaha CL/QL consoles, and to derive audio directly from a growing number of products and devices also utilising DANTE.
